With an extensive experience exceeding two decades, Christopher Salis has earned a great reputation for bringing innovations and uplifting the work standards of companies he has worked with. He has also encouraged productivity in the world of startups with concepts like (GTD) Getting Things Done by David Allen and lean startup philosophy.
Chris started his career with Adecco Employment Services. In this firm, he supervised the IT Procurement Program for 700 branch locations and also. He also handled the global corporate operations, strategic partners and vendors.
After working at Adecco for more than two years, Chris went on to apply his insights at Gap Inc. and managed the strategic sourcing for nearly five years. Salis has also worked for eBay as the manager for Operational Excellence.
He has also spent nearly four years in Business Objects, where he began as a senior manager for Procurement and Strategic Sourcing. However, with his diligent efforts, he became the Executive Director.
Christopher Salis has also worked with SAP at Palo Alto for almost six years. He had started there as the Vice President and Head of Global Sales and with his insights and potentials, he brought innovations. He overturned 3 years of falling revenue and multiplied the SaaS revenue growth for upto four times.
With his efforts, he was able to serve the firm as Global Vice President and General Manager for Line of Business Solutions for Procurement. He holds the credit to build a global team of staunch product managers, and helped to increase globally acquired SaaS Revenue 75%.
Later on, while serving the firm as Global Vice President and the chief of Portfolio Go to Market, he commercialized SAP digital business unit and decreased average time of generating revenue for new developments from 12 months to 90 days. Salis has also led several teams and motivated many teammates to unite their efforts for a mutual goal.
Another distinct quality of Christopher Salis is that, he is a great learner and sees every situation as an opportunity to learn something new. Outside the office, he is a father of two young sons, and he uses his experience of being a parent as an opportunity to help others with challenges of parenthood.
