Christopher managed to turn around three years of declining revenue at SAP, quadrupled the company’s SaaS revenue growth, and hit the highest line of business quota from 2010 to 2011.
After that, he took on roles like Global Vice President & General Manager for Line of Business Solutions for Procurement and Global Vice President & Head of Portfolio for Go-to-Market.

Q: What attracted you to SAP after your time at eBay and Business Objects?
A: To be honest, leaving eBay and Business Objects was tough because I had important roles there. But SAP was a game-changer for me. It was a chance to revolutionize business applications. SAP's reputation was stellar, and the leadership team’s drive for innovation was inspiring. I loved the positive culture and the focus on customers. I wanted to be part of something big and transformative, and SAP offered just that.
Q: How did your previous experiences shape your role at SAP?
A: I learned a ton at eBay and Business Objects. At Business Objects, I was part of a big transformation – fixing deep issues, creating new products, and boosting revenue. When I joined SAP, I looked at how we engaged with customers and partners and our approach to SaaS. My past experiences helped me focus on key things like user experience, reliability, and product integration. My goal was to drive product innovation, add value for our customers and partners, and keep making our products smarter and better.
